THE INDIAN MOTIF WEEKEND BAG: ESCADRILLE’S FASHION ACCESSORY

Escadrille knows just how important it is for you to stay fashionable and chic wherever you are. That means showing off your style on your weekend trip or seaside vacation is an absolute must. With this in mind, Escadrille is back this summer season with new fashion accessories that will add an extra touch of style to your outfits. These accessories have been created in partnership with Jamini Design. Our new creations are sure to cause a stir and look ideal on weekends away by the Mediterranean Sea.

ACCESSORIES INSPIRED BY INDIAN MOTIFS

The collab between Escadrille and Jamini Design has been a fruitful one. Together we have created more than four fashion accessories, alongside three new models of espadrilles. What makes them so special are their pretty Indian motifs printed on midnight-blue fabric.

You will find a large weekend bag, perfect for a two- or three-day trip to the seaside and big enough for all your belongings. And there are also sarongs, beach mats, and even toiletry bags, all adorned with unique Indian motifs.

These are the ideal accessories for showing off your unique and original style on your vacation by the Mediterranean Sea.

WORKING HAND IN HAND FOR UNIQUE, HIGH-QUALITY DESIGNS

As a specialist in high-end espadrilles, Escadrille wanted to also offer chic and high-quality fashion accessories.

Jamini Design and Escadrille took inspiration from an ancestral technique from Rajasthan – block printing – to produce an extremely resistant cotton fabric with unique Indian motifs.

Practiced in western India for centuries, block printing involves printing motifs onto a fabric by hand using carved wooden blocks. Through this process, the motifs cut into the wood are transferred onto the fabric.

As always, Escadrille wants to highlight tradition and ancestral know-how in its creations. This is most definitely the case for our espadrilles, which are hand-sewn by Spanish artisans. And it’s also true of the Indian fabrics used for the new Anjali collection.
