The Anjali espadrilles combine two different techniques with two separate forms of traditional ancestral know-how.
Escadrille’s expertise in designing and making high-end espadrilles – with durable materials, hand-sewn designs, and Spanish production – meets the Indian know-how of making fabrics adorned with delicate, complex and detailed motifs.
This Indian technique is called block printing. In it, motifs are printed onto a fabric by hand using a carved wooden stamp.
The results are striking. The espadrilles made in this way boast motifs of unparalleled quality that set off the characteristic French-chic style of Escadrille’s espadrilles. The Indian fabric alone will make you the star of your weekend by the beach.
