Where are escadrille’s espadrilles made ?

Our espadrilles are entirely locally made in France and Spain. As these shoes have both French and Spanish roots, we wanted to showcase skills from both sides of the Pyrenees when making our long-lasting, on-trend and refined espadrilles.

The different fabrics, leathers, and ribbons used to make our espadrilles are carefully selected from French, Spanish and Italian producers. For several years now, we have been working with the same artisans from the Spanish region of Murcia, near Alicante, to produce our espadrilles and we have built up a relationship of trust with them.

The ideas for our designs are thought up in France, before heading south to Spain to take concrete form.

We adopt a considered approach to production and take care to limit our impact on the natural world. To this end, we give pride of place to local economies.
